Welcome to the eighth episode of season two of the Pick Me Up Podcasts. In today’s episode we are discussing dealing with our emotions around our birth.

I am joined by wife and mum of 2 children, Emma Sherry.  Having experienced anxiety and post natal depression and having been interested in promoting positive mental health and well being for the last 10 years, Emma used lockdown as an opportunity to increase her skills and knowledge around mental health. She subsequently started her own business, Serenity Blue.  She is now a qualified Birthing Awareness 3 Step Process practitioner helping mums, dad’s and birth partners move forward following a difficult or traumatic birth experience. She is also a perinatal peer support volunteer and is in the process of setting up her own local group for mums who may be struggling with their mental health. Emma is extremely passionate about promoting the importance of positive mental health and well being especially during the perinatal period.
