Ah hey everyone! How are you? What a crazy old time it has been, but I hope you are all keeping safe and well. It feels so good to be back and writing again. As you may have noticed from a fairly idle website, or limited social media updates we have been rather busy off-screen welcoming our newest member to the family. Introducing…. Little Squish (and one very proud big brother).
As I sit here and write this today she is currently about to celebrate being on planet earth for a whole 3 months. I am already feeling like I need to press the pause button, and am seriously wondering where on earth 3 months have just disappeared to.
In all honesty, I wasn’t entirely sure where this would all go whilst I learnt to juggle life as a mummy to 2 children (under 2 I will add), and probably, for the first time in my life, I stayed fairly chilled out about the unknown and just enjoyed the time for what it was. So if you have stuck around and you are now heading back to see what’s new, thanks for returning, it’s great to be back here with you. And if you are new, then welcome, I’m excited to be on this journey with you. Be sure to check out my about me page if you have any inclination of knowing more about the crazy workings of the mind and life of Emma.
Life As We Now Know It
I would be lying if I said that it hasn’t taken some adjusting and that it has been easy over the last 3 months (I promise to share more of this with you in the very near future). But from a crazy few weeks before Little Squish arrived to now, there have been a lot of memories made, many tears cried, a wee bit of soul-searching and some exciting times and glimpses to the future. We have celebrated our first Christmas together, enjoyed playing in the snow, had many pyjama days and lazy mornings snuggled on the sofa, and have generally all been settling in to new family life as a 5. The journey second time round has definitely been different (again, I promise to share very soon), and honestly, I feel very different this time round too. But the struggles, the reality, the joy and the prospect of the future is all what has brought us to this point now and has led me to this update for you all.
So What’s New
Well I have a few extra bags under the eyes thanks to our latest addition. But I am incredibly excited to be sharing with you over the coming months the new developments within Personal Development Time. As you all know, my passion is personal development and I absolutely love being able to support people on their own journey of growth (whether this be physical, mental or spiritual). I will be taking my ability to support people to the next level very soon with an exciting new project I am working on so watch this space. I have also recently started a course which will not only enable me to do exactly that, but is also geared around my own growth. I am only on week 2 of this but I am getting so much from it already, so I will be sharing this with you as I go, as well as it transferring across to the way that I can support others and make a difference. If you were a lover of the podcasts before and have missed the weekly episodes, then these will also be back soon, and will consist of others also sharing their tips and support too so look out for that development. If you aren’t yet following me on social media then head over to my Facebook or Instagram to see more of what’s happening on a day to day basis, including cute pics of the kiddies and the furry one.
Where Do We Go From Here?
Well with a fresh outlook and a new drive and passion for our future, life will look a little different from here on in. You can expect very much the same from me in terms of content: I will, as before, be sharing my real and honest experiences of mummy life and my own personal development journey and how that translates in to life now, as well as giving as much in terms of tips or pieces of advice as I can along the way. So stick around, join me on the ride and let’s work out this crazy thing called life together. I am so excited to be doing this with you and taking things to the next level.
So until next time, stay safe, stay sane and keep smiling!
Sending love, as always.
